Battle Realms Preview

Klassisch wie ich bin, verlinke ich wieder klassich eine Preview (engl.) und zwar von den Altmeistern bei Gmaespy. Die Preview beschäftigt sich mit Battle Realms dem kommenden RPG-Strategiekracher von Liquid Entertainment.

The real-time strategy genre is again in high gear, harkening back to 1997, which many consider the year of the RTS. One of the big contenders for the gaming public's attention (and dollars) is Battle Realms from developer Liquid Entertainment. We stopped by Liquid's offices to get a look at the feudal Oriental-style game and found the team heavily in crunch mode.

The management tandem of Ed del Castillo and Mike Grayford, two wunderkind formerly of Westwood Studios, has crafted a team of 17 to work on the project and a crew of three or four QA testers on contract. Del Castillo's vision for the game was an RTS that focused less on management of resources and more on the war on the battlefield.
