Nutzt Unreal 3-Engine für MMOs

NCsoft gab bekannt, das die Unreal 3-Engine für zwei noch nicht näher bekannte MMO-Spiele genutzt wird.
"Unreal Engine 3 has a well structured rendering pipeline, and its graphical quality is superb thanks to advanced lighting and shadowing systems," sagte Young-muk Choi von NCSoft.
Bei Epic Games freut man sich über die erneute Zuammenarbeit mit dem koreanischen Entwickler und Publisher. "NCsoft pioneered online game development using Unreal Engine, as evidenced by Lineage II, one of the most commercially successful and enduringly popular online games in history. We are thrilled to take this next step with NCsoft, and are fully committed to supporting their projects. We expect to be completely wowed by what they do with our latest technology." sagte Jay Wilbur, Vizepräseident bei Epic Games.
Welche Spiele NCsoft auf der Engine nun entwickeln wird, ist vollkommen unbekannt, doch sicherlich gibt es demnächst weitere Ankündigungen dazu.
