Gilbert Goodmate (Adv.) Interview
Und noch schnell ein Interview (engl) mit dem Machern von dem Adventure Gilbert Goodmate von dem vom Hobbyentwickler aufgestiegenen Daniel Nilsson.
GameSpy: When did you start work on Gilbert Goodmate?
Daniel Nilsson: Well it all started about five years ago when Mike (project leader, programmer) and I did our military service and we wanted to do something in our spare time. Mike had programmed for a while on Amiga and I liked to draw so we thought that making a computer game would be fun. We were both big fans of "Simon the Sorcerer 1" and "Monkey Island 2" and we both agreed on making a "point-and-click" adventure game because those were the kind of games we liked.
At that time all we had was a wacky title and we actually started to design the game from the name of the title (which is the totally wrong way to start). After a while we changed the title to "Gilbert Goodmate and the mushroom of Phungoria (note that we changed mushrooms to mushroom) simply because it would be easier to have just one mushroom.
