2. Gothic Demo

Na gucki die schau, da wird doch noch eine 2. Demo zu Gothic dem 3D RPG von Piranha Bytes auf uns los gelassen. Ungleich der ersten wird die zweite am Tageslicht spielen.

Work on the second official Gothic demo is still in progress. Unlike the first demo, which was set underground, this demo will be set above ground. To prevent the demo becoming too large, we have selected a certain section of the Upperworld.

There is no detailed information on the contents of the demo available so far.

Demo 2 represents the technological level of the full version (without the patch). Mouse maneuverability and the voice-overs are available in full, and even some changes to the interface and the game balance, which were implemented just before the completion of the end product, are also contained in this demo. So that's something to look forward to. :-)

When will Demo 2 be available? Since the work on the second demo is being conducted at the same time as the completion of the patch, no definite date is available as yet. However, we are almost finished, so it shouldn't be too long. As soon as this download option becomes available, this fact will be mentioned in the News section.
